New Year, New Reads

Happy 2019, book nerds! I hope you had a wonderful time ringing in the new year with family, friends, or the pile of books you shut yourself in your room with (no? Just me? Okay.)

A brand new year means brand new books! I can’t wait to welcome the new year with this incredible crop of new releases, which also seem like the perfect antidote to all the cold winter days I know are still ahead. I might just ignore everything else and lock myself in a room with these books and some snacks, TBH. So, if you can’t find me you’ll kind of know where I am.

If you like to start building your TBR out in advance like I do, don’t even sweat it. Just scroll down, see how many of these books are already on your list and write down all the ones that aren’t! You can thank me later.

2019 New Releases

Jan – Jun

After the jaw-dropping revelation that Oak is the heir to Faerie, Jude must keep her younger brother safe. To do so, she has bound the wicked king, Cardan, to her, and made herself the power behind the throne. Navigating the constantly shifting political alliances of Faerie would be difficult enough if Cardan were easy to control. But he does everything in his power to humiliate and undermine her even as his fascination with her remains undiminished.

When it becomes all too clear that someone close to Jude means to betray her, threatening her own life and the lives of everyone she loves, Jude must uncover the traitor and fight her own complicated feelings for Cardan to maintain control as a mortal in a Faerie world.

How many are on your TBR?

  1. Some amazing books on this list. 2018 was a pretty epic year for books, but I think 2019 looks to be shaping up to be just as good if not better!
